This ski-in/ski-out property is highly praised for its unbeatable proximity to Park City Mountain, featuring an on-site ski shop and easy access to downtown restaurants via a free shuttle. Guests mostly appreciate the spacious units and helpful customer service, though the property is widely described as dated and in need of significant updates. Recent negative reviews cite poor cleanliness and minor maintenance issues.
This place is all about location... Proximity to the lifts. Otherwise my hotel room was clean. The coffee set up below par, no microwave. Walls are thin; I could hear clear conversations from adjacent rooms loved the outdoor pool.
We had a great stay at this unit in Park City. It was very spacious with lots of amenities, and everything was clean and comfortable. The customer service was excellent and easy to work with. The location is perfect—just minutes to the lifts. We would definitely stay here again!
Great place to stay for a ski trip to PC. One bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious. The only issue I had was with parking. The information packet sent to us said we got one parking place as a matter of course (which was true and very convenient), but also could get another spot, space permitting. When I asked at the front desk about the second spot, I was told that was not available under any circumstance. It created parking issues for our son, who traveled up from SLC to spend the night so that we could all ski together the next day. So, Shadow Ridge should inform its front desk employees of its actual policies.
I had an amazing three week stay here. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was conveniently located in a quiet and nice neighborhood. The outdoor pool, SpaTub and Suana were great!
This place is wonderful! The staff was so cordial and accommodating, the room was perfect, and loved being able to walk right out to the slopes! If you don’t mind hills the town is close enough to walk to and is super convenient especially when parking is so limited in town!
The location is right across the street from the Park City Mountain area skiing. This does seem to be an older establishment but we rented unit 201 and it seemed to be updated. The interior hallways just seem a little older. Unit 201 had 2 large bedrooms, 3 large bathrooms and a large kitchen and den area. We had 7 adults staying in this unit and we had plenty of room. The 3 full bathrooms were a big plus. The bedrooms were very spacious. It lists both bedrooms having 2 queen beds in each room, but in this unit, the master bedroom at 2 queen beds but the 2nd bedroom had 2 double beds. There was also a pull out sofa that we did not use. The indoor hot tub was nice and we used it every day after skiing. The unit does not have a washer and dryer but they have machines you can pay to use in the basement. It would have been nice to have had a washer and dryer in the unit. You can walk 10 min to the Fresh market grocery store or 20 min ( up a hill) to downtown Park city. Overall a good experience and would consider staying here again.
The property was close to the slopes and very roomy. The beds were soft but the rest of the furniture was a little dated. I guess paying $1300 a night I expected a little more. I would have expected a working ready fireplace. It had a wood burning fireplace which thought was odd in a Condo, but the property had no firewood available. I was told I would have to drive somewhere to purchase firewood. The fireplace screen was also broken making it feel unsafe. Just a note to future renters, if you plan on cooking in the kitchen, there was no cooking oil or spices besides just salt and pepper in the kitchen. Unlike usual family rentals, there were no leftover supplies left behind by previous renters or the owners. Maybe the maid service is instructed to remove everything left behind. I don’t know.
Location was great and I would say main attraction of this location. Facility was definitely older and had a few odors to it. We stayed for 1 week and only area of improvement I would say is the facility cleanliness and its odors. Elevator had a stink to it as well as a few of the hallways. You can tell it is an older establishment but nothing that cant be cleaned up. Potential to be great. As for location, couldnt ask for a shorter walk to the slopes. Literally across the street from Slopes
Location — Excellent: The location is one of the best parts of staying here. It’s just steps across from the Main Street, and other fun Plazas, and the Park City lifts and ski area, making it super convenient for ski trips. The free bus stop nearby also makes getting around easy. Many guests highlight this as a major plus. Service — Friendly & Helpful: Service tends to be one of the stronger elements. Staff members are friendly and accommodating, which helps make the overall stay pleasant. Rooms: The room was spacious with decent layout and amenities like little fridge, microwave and coffee machine. But the living area can feel dated or older than expected: outdated furnishings, dark interiors, and maintenance issues like orange water. There’s a pool, sauna, hot tub, and ski shop on site. Easy underground parking. Easy to find.
The place where we stayed was very clean and spacious. The proximity of the condo to the ski resort is defnitely the best. I highly recommend to book this place especially of the reasonable price and its location. The staff that checked us in are very friendly as well.
