Guests consistently praise the Chateaux Deer Valley for its luxurious atmosphere, top-tier service, and prime location near ski slopes and Main Street. However, multiple recent reviews mention frustrating hidden fees, particularly recurring $40 nightly parking plus a resort fee, as well as inconsistent issues with room privacy and climate control.

My family and I just stayed here for five nights. The experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff, food, location, service, the room - all of it was an 11/10 experience. The breakfast every morning was amazing. At every corner the staff is waiting to help you in any way possible. Highly recommend valet parking. We did the king bedroom with a living room and it was spectacular. At the end of every day we looked forward to getting back to our cozy hotel room and turning on the gas fireplace. Highly recommend talking to temple and the other concierge staff for recommendations prior to arrival as they made some great suggestions. I’ve traveled all of the world and stayed as dozen of hotels this one was easily top 3. Thank you for a great trip!

Very nice views and decent rooms. The reason service scored low is because I had a few poor experiences during my stay. First off, I always place the privacy door hanger because I tend to not want to be disturbed while I rest throughout the day or just have things in my room I don't want moved around or taken. However, upon my return from my first round of activities I found the someone had still gone into my room and left the privacy hanger on the floor inside my room. This was unacceptable and a violation of my privacy request. I informed the front desk and they apologized extensively, but I feel like there was some retaliation on the part of room service because on the morning of my checkout the room next door sounded like it was under construction from 6 AM up until I was checking out at 11 AM. Lastly, the food I ordered was terrible. The cost did not justify the experience.

Beautiful resort with immaculate rooms, cozy hot pools, and amazing staff! Everyone makes sure you feel like you’re taken care of in every way you need. The shuttle on demand was also extremely helpful for getting around without a car. A special shout-out to Hawkeye for making the rides so enjoyable and his spot-on dining recs!

We came here for our 30th wedding anniversary. They have a parking garage which would be great in bad weather. The room and staff were excellent. We really enjoyed the heated pools, the water was crystal clear and very clean. Only gave 3 stars because of 2 reasons. The restaurant was under renovation so no included Breakfast as advertised and I got a surprise $40 a night parking fee which was not disclosed when I booked the room. Had I known about these I might have chosen another place so I would call before you book and get all the details and costs.

Stayed here for a conference and overall had a good experience. The hotel worked well for meetings and events, and the staff handled the conference smoothly. It wasn’t ski season yet, so the town was pretty quiet—which was actually nice for a work trip. The only downside was that the walls were a bit thin, so noise carried more than expected. I imagine this would be a great spot for groups or families once ski season kicks in.

Our weekend at The Chateaux was absolutely amazing! The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. The breakfast buffet is fantastic -the cottage cheese crepes and the eggs are some of the best I’ve ever had. I usually don’t enjoy eggs at hotels (and I eat them often) but these were truly exceptional! The spa and pool area are clean and relaxing. It was a very high quality getaway. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious vacation. To make it even more special, the staff surprised me with a delicious birthday cake and a personalized card with congratulations - it absolutely made my day and added such a thoughtful touch to the stay. Things to know: parking is $40 per night plus a $40 resort fee -it’s not clearly mentioned anywhere, so just keep that in mind when planning your stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The only thing I’d change is the soap - it’s quite oily and leaves a residue on your skin, like you didn’t fully rinse it off. Other than that, everything was perfect!

I typically do not leave reviews, but the staff and hotel must be recognized. Ken, Zac, and Brian were amazing to work with. They made sure our stay was problem free which is a difficult since we have three children. The facilities were well maintained and the s'mores in the courtyard are a must. There are a lot of very nice hotels in deer valley/park city, but this staff takes the cake.

Nice suite, lovely restaurant. And the best service from every one from front desk, great food and service at the Italian restaurant. Family was impressed.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. It is hard to get around and has very few signs so we got lost. It is also about 15-20 minutes away from everything to a huge hill so not in walking distance of anything. Otherwise it was a good stay and my only complaint about the room were the huge gaps the curtains left it felt line everyone could see in our room at night.

This hotel is beautiful and luxurious. It’s kind of a confusing maze but the staff is great and can guide where you need to go. The pool is pretty small but it’s a good layout. I really wanted to highlight Brian from the staff. He really helped me find my way after getting lost in the maze. He’s a great guy and made my experience better. Rooms are luxurious and the towels are thick and fluffy. I would for sure stay here again. We all had a great time.
