The Sheraton Park City consistently receives positive feedback regarding its friendly staff, particularly front desk agents like Mel and Teeny, who are praised for their helpfulness and welcoming attitudes. Guests appreciate the convenience of amenities such as the shuttle service, breakfast, and on-site facilities. While some rooms may show signs of wear, the overall experience is considered positive, especially for those seeking a comfortable and well-serviced stay.
the acting Manager Mel is extremely rude does not follow proper protocols when booking rooms will not allow our booking company to refund the rooms and is ensuring that all bookings are double charged. When trying to speak to her she yells at you interrupts and is extremely rude. worst experience ever and will never book any of our company reservations here ever again.
I would highly recommend the Park City Sheraton. Although a shuttle ride is provided to Park City, the hotels shuttles made it very convenient. There are several restaurants within walking distance if you do not want to go downtown. Mel and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and apre-ski appetizers were great! Good bartenders as well.
BEWARE OF OVERCHARGES!!! My recent stay at Sheraton Park City was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. At check-in, the front desk agent struggled with their system and swiped my credit card nearly 15 times before telling me it was being declined. I informed her there was no limit issue on my card, and only then did she realize she should have been using a different computer. Once she switched, my card went through immediately. This was really frustrating and concerning, especially given the repeated swipes. Despite clearly seeing that my wife was holding our four-month-old baby, we were assigned a room at the far end of the property — the furthest possible from the entrance. While we didn’t complain at the time, the lack of consideration was disappointing. The most unacceptable incident occurred on the morning of checkout. At 9:00 AM, a housekeeper (Juan) entered our room without knocking while my mother-in-law was changing. There was no apology — he simply shut the door and walked away. I reported this to the front desk, and the agent apologized, stating that the resort fees would be removed as a gesture of goodwill. However, the billing issues that followed made matters significantly worse. After checkout, I received my folio by email and discovered: Over $300 in room charges that were charged incorrectly Restaurant charges (including tip) from a restaurant or bar that we never visited Resort fees that were supposed to have been removed I had to contact the hotel four separate times to correct the bill. And even after the Front Desk Manager confirmed the corrections were made, my credit card still shows an incorrect charge, and the final statement she sent does not reflect what I was told. The only positive part of our stay was the genuinely kind and helpful service from the two bellman twins from Argentina — they were very professional and welcoming. Unfortunately, every other aspect of our experience left a very bad impression on our entire family. I would not return to this property.
Mel at the front desk was completely incredible! There was a mishap with my reservation and she took care of me. She went above and beyond in such a genuine and caring way. Anyone would be lucky to have an employee like her. Five stars in every way!
This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this hotel. We have enjoyed it both times. They have great a breakfast buffet, rooms are clean, in door pool, nice gym and my son enjoyed the game room. They provide a shuttle to the mountain to ski. It’s a great location as well. Everyone is very friendly. This time Baltazar helped us with our luggage coming in and out. He was so polite and helpful. When we come back to park city we will definitely be staying here again.
Mel at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was not only wonderful- but took extra steps to let us know that our business was appreciated and that they valued our business. I wish every work trip could be like this. Her service was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
I am so impressed with this property because the staff exceeded my expectations and.were so kind and proactively helpful. From my first call to book through checkin, Mel was exceptional. She took the time to help me and was thorough and accurate in all the details. Mari was also super helpful when I called back with additional questions about the room and shuttle to the ski slopes. She was also amazing at check in, making me feel like a VIP. Both of them were at checkin and offering to recommend restaurants, explaining details about the facilities and making me feel very important as a guest. I cannot say enough about this place and will be coming back every time I’m in town. The shuttle was so prompt picking me up from deer valley ski resort and Pedro is so friendly. Wheatle is also exceptionally kind and helpful. Five stars are not enough. Thank you Sheraton for a great stay.
Staying for the skiing. Subpar this year for snow, but the Sheraton continues to deliver exceptional service. The hotel is great, offering shuttle services and valet for your skis. Timbers has great food and great drinks. Paul was our sever and does a great Old Fashioned.
Best of the best! Mel was so helpful, wonderful and sweet! Check-in was a breeze. She made the whole stay feel like we were at Disneyland! Whatever she’s getting paid, it needs to be doubled! Take note Marriott! It’s bc of people like Mel that keep me at my high status!
Unfortunately, our stay at the Sheraton was disappointing. Upon check-in, the receptionist seemed confused and took a while to find our reservation but then informed us that there were no king-bed rooms available—even though that is what our son had booked. Thankfully, a more experienced receptionist stepped in, handled the situation professionally, and at least offered lounge access to help make up for the inconvenience. The issues didn’t stop there. The hot tub foam had visible dirt in it, which was off-putting and raised concerns about cleanliness. On top of that, few days later we noticed an additional charge on our account for the room, even though our son had already paid for it and we showed them the reservation when we booked. When we called the front desk, we were told they “might” be able to issue a refund, but no apology was offered for the double charge. Overall, the lack of organization, professionalism, and accountability made this a very disappointing experience. We expected much better from a hotel of this caliber.
