Park Plaza Resort offers spacious suites with full kitchens and convenient amenities like underground parking and shuttle service to ski resorts. Recent reviews highlight cleanliness, friendly staff, and a central location, though some guests have noted issues with the hot tub and occasional maintenance needs. Overall, it’s a well-regarded option for exploring Park City, but improvements to certain areas are needed.
This place was great. In town for a half marathon near by so I needed a place for the weekend and was not disappointed. The place was very clean. Rooms are huge since they were once condos. Everyone was friendly. Easy parking included. Only issue was the teens hanging out in the hot tub one night. As an older male traveling alone not going to sit in a hot tub while teens are hanging around, especially when they were just hanging around the edge of the hot tub in their suits and not using it. Wish they would have an 18 and over rule. But like most hotels that doesn't matter anyways. But when traveling for races the use of a hot tub is nice. But this doesn't speak bad on the hotel as everything was great.
The rooms are a nice place to stay, especially if you want to make meals since they have a built in kitchen! There is a tv in the main room and in the bedroom for viewing, as well as a nice bathroom and shower in the room and near the door depending on what room you stay in. Overall it's not a bad place to stay, it just stinks they no longer have a pool-only a hot tub. They do offer a lot of fun games near the pool area however to keep you entertained! It's just outside of the main area of the city, but not too far from everything so you can still see and do everything you want to!
While the parking situation is quite troublesome for larger vehicles… this hotel hits the spot. Very, very comfortable. Excellent staff. What more could you want in Park City?
Excellent location, beautiful place all amenities in great condition, friendly staff, special thanks to Ivan for being so helpful in our stay, he make sure your you have an unforgettable experience. 100% recommended
The staff was super friendly, the rooms are clean, and the bed was really really comfortable This place has underground parking. Also has nearby restaurants within walking distance.
Check in was easy. Parking is free underground but limited. Plenty of indoor games. Small pool 3ft. Sauna looks well kept. Full kitchens. 100% appreciated perk is shuttle to resort, times are posted at the front desk. Plenty of walkable restaurants
We booked this hotel for a quick getaway during fall break. It listed a pool which actually turns out to be across the street. The large hot tub was stinky and my entire family said their skin crawled after using it. Swimming was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel but it was a mistake. In addition, our suite was roomy but shabby and needs an update. Adequate towels for a group of seven would have been nice. When I requested an adjustment due to the pool (or, more accurately, non-pool situation), Jeff (at the desk) acknowledged the issues but said no, not their problem or responsibility. Hence, my review. Needless to say, I would not recommend Park Plaza Resort in Park City UT. Response to owner’s comments: Instead of offering up excuses, perhaps you should put your time towards coordinating with all entities that share info regarding your facility to assure that your guests are not negatively disappointed with the lack of accommodations such as a pool (no one would expect the pool to be across the street and require an additional fee). And, btw, other hotel guests we encountered commented on the smelly hot tub, too.
Perfect room and reasonable price at off peak season. Receptionist was very nice and patient at check in, other staff were also very friendly. Complimentary underground parking is good for snow season. Suit with a full function kitchen. Will come back in winter.
Got in late that night, gal was nice enough to leave the hot tub area unlocked for us even though it was poss to be locked. They were very helpful. Place was clean and nice. Everything worked in out room, in the morning they had free fresh warm coffee ?? in the lobby. Thanks for great stay!!
I’m usually a positive review kinda guy, and I’ll start with the positive. My wife and I come every year with my in laws Labor Day weekend, my in laws have had a time share here for 25 years. My mother in law and I wanted to hit the hot tub before bed. It was close to closing time, but Maria was kind enough to let us relax as long as we were quiet. Which respectfully we did. However, she was about to clock out. Another woman comes along with an attitude, no regard whatsoever for guests to put it lightly. When I mentioned my concern to the kind lady, she simply replied “she’s never happy”. The ignorant lady is Jamie, not sure if I’m spelling it correctly. But she can’t to use me and my mother in law out as soon as she could. Then we continued our quiet conversation in the lounging area where Jamie encountered us 4 other times. Each of which we tried to ask her how her night was going, if there was anything we could do to help, so on and so forth. She wouldn’t even look at us or reply. If I take this much time to write a review, I hope management takes it into consideration. You charge way to much for people to be treated that way.
